Fuzzy Buzzy Beez
Providing the highest quality raw, unfiltered honey directly from hives throughout Chapel Hill-Carrboro North Carolina since 2015. From the early nectar of the Black Locust in April through the Tulip Poplar explosion of May, hundreds of thousands of locally bred, free-range bees are working hard to meet your honey needs.
Meet the Beek!
I began my beek(eeping) journey in beautiful Chapel Hill, North Carolina under the watchful eye of my mentor Jerry Schoendorf and the support of the Orange County, NC Beekeepers Association. I currently manage more than 16 honey bee colonies to providing both honey and other hive products to the greater NC Triangle Community and quality, locally-mated queen bees to other hobbiest bee keepers in the area.

Honey
Our honey is raw and unfiltered, preserving all the natural enzymes and health benefits of the honey. While bees forage on many flowers – such as clover and wild flowers – nectar in Chapelboro comes from the explosion of tulip poplar blooms in early June creating a fragrant, light amber honey.
Pollen
Pollen is a seasonal product at Fuzzy Buzzy Beez. Pollen provides the protein source for the colony, and for humans is a superfood packed with vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. Pollen is time consuming to harvest and is harvested with care and expertise to not disrupt the efforts of worker bees.
Gift Sets
Our gift sets include honey, skin care products, and hand-crafted bags to make the perfect gift for that special occasion. Gift sets vary depending on the season and the availability of products from the hive.
Skin Care
Our skin care range includes salves, lip balms, and tinctures made with beeswax and honey. All our products are natural and organic, perfect for sensitive skin.
